Yes, that is a picture of the inside of my sphenoid sinus, which is way in the back of the head, on top of the optic nerve, under the brain. High rent area. The surgeon said that “the red stuff” is blood…
For the record, this is what they did to me:
Yahooo!
Now, for something fun…
This has been around for a while, but it’s always a fun distraction. Left mouse click changes color. Space bar clears the page. Unwind your colorful mind…
Have at, here.
I’m sorry, this made me laugh so hard, I couldn’t resist…
UPDATE:
OK, so people have been asking. This should help explain:
Come visit The Daily Shave, a photo blog accompanying the Wild Woods blog–bits of wood shavings for family and friends near and far. (See link in the right hand column.)
A shave a day…
Two years ago (Spring, 2005), I was carrying the Wanderboy in a sling and trimming the roses, when I tripped, fell, and scraped up my leg pretty good protecting the boy.
Wondering, with her then recent personal injury, wrote me out a prescription:
Here’s the translation:
I have to say, I think number 4 is brilliant.
…And especially mine.
Natalie Merchant, “Kind & Generous”
You’ve been so kind and generous
I don’t know how you keep on giving
For your kindness I’m in debt to you
For your selflessness, my admiration
And for everything you’ve doneYou know I’m bound…
I’m bound to thank you for itYou’ve been so kind and generous
I don’t know how you keep on giving
For your kindness I’m in debt to you
And I never could have come this far without you
So for everything you’ve doneYou know I’m bound…
I’m bound to thank you for itI want to thank you
For so many gifts
You gave with love and tenderness
I want to thank youI want to thank you
For your generosity
The love and the honesty
That you gave meI want to thank you
Show my gratitude
My love and my respect for you
I want to thank youI want to…
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
And for all the future mothers…
… thank you in advance.

Dee doodle-ee doodle-ee doodle-ee do.I had a dog, my dog pleased me
I fed my dog ‘neath the greenberry tree
My little doggie went ruff ruff ruff
My little rooster went cocka doodle doo
Dee doodle-ee doodle-ee doodle-ee do.I had a kitty, my kitty pleased me
I fed my kitty ‘neath the greenberry tree
My little kitty went meow
My little doggie went ruff ruff ruff
My little rooster went cocka doodle doo
Dee doodle-ee doodle-ee doodle-ee do.Etc.

Well, I heard Wandering sing this song the other day, but apparently he changed the words. It now goes like this:
I had a Jenna Rose, and the Jenna Rose pleased me
I fed my Jenna Rose ‘neath the greenberry tree
The little Jenna Rose went I love you
Dee doodle-ee doodle-ee doodle-ee do.
Hmmmmmm…
